Why is the label separate from the placeholder?
Placeholders disappear when someone starts typing and are not read reliably by assistive technology. A visible label stays put and is required for accessibility.
How do I limit the length of the answer?
Add a maxlength attribute to the generated textarea. Validate the length on the server too, since browser limits can be bypassed.
